Creating the Documentary, “Clear Light”

A new creation from the studio, our Documentary, “Clear Light”, is a collaboration with my husband Josh Cheng about our friend Ian de Souza. 

The documentary, “Clear light”, is a heartfelt portrayal of the artist Ian de Souza, unveiling his relentless dedication in pursuit of his passion and art. It follows the artist process that was involved in creating artworks for Ian’s latest exhibition, “Clear Light”. His capacity to see beauty in everything, is evident in many aspects of Ian’s way of life, including his home, food and music.

It was a very moving project, Josh and I felt grateful to have had this synchronous experience with Ian at this very special moment in his life. At 80 years of age, Ian has experienced a profound history as an artist and musician culminating in his extraordinary exhibition in Singapore honouring his legacy.

“Clear Light” will be screened in Singapore at The Private Museum, in support of Ian de Souza’s solo art exhibition, “Clear Light”, which will run  from Oct 10-Dec 8.
